Can I Use Vitamin C Serum With Pigment Regulator For A Darker Face?

I have had 2 glycolic peels at the clinic and noticed my face a darker than my body. Other than this the peels are working. I am using a pigment regulator as part of my skincare. Shall I use a vitamin c serum also? How do I combat this problem and when shall I expect improvement?

Dermatologist 's  Response

Hi,

I can understand your concern dark pigmentation and spots on face .

If I were your dermatologist then I would have suggested you to use azelaic acid cream or Kojic acid cream or glycolic acid cream or licorice extract or arbutine creams or vitamin C serum at night time in guidance of dermatologist.

The most important part is to use a sunscreen regularly in open environment and on exposure to sun.

Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem can be dealt best for future time.

Protect yourself form direct sunlight.

Take care
