Can I Take Amoxicillin With Escitalopram And Quetiapine?

Hello, my doctor prescribe me amoxicillin 1000mg twice daily for 10 days. I am concern about the dosage because i am 95 pounds and already take other medication. My actual question is : is 1000mg twice daily a high or dangerous dose?? And can i take it at the same time than my escitalopram 10mg and quetiapine25mg ?
Thanks for the answer

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Amoxicillin is a penicillin derivative antibiotic and it usual doses are about 250-500 mg three times a day in adults depending upon weight. So I don't think 1000 mg is a high dose for this drug. This is not a dangerous dose.

The drug also doesn't have much interactions with 10 mg Escitalopram and 25 mg of Quetiapine. These drugs are safe and can be used without any fear. Take the drugs as per your prescription only.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
