Hello, Deviated nasal septum if causing nasal discharge, blockage etc nasal problems or ear problems like decreased hearing not responding to medicines needs surgical correction. But before the surgical treatment it would be better if you take medicines for that and if you get a good response and get the problem again then get it treated surgically. As you described you probably have serous otitis media. You can take a course of oral steroids , antihistaminic , decongestant, nasal sprays both normal saline nasal sprays and steroid nasal sprays. It might solve your problem, then get repeated Audiometry every 3 or 6 monthly depending on the improvement , and again depending on the response surgery can be planned. In doubt do reply.
