Can Headaches, Blurred Vision, Tinnitus And Depression Be Due To Changed Medications?

My pharmacy substituted 50mg topiramate (topimax) for what I was taking before being 200 mg of orphenadrine (norflex) approximately 10 days ago. I was not aware of the change and have been experiencing severe headaches, blurred vision, tinnitus and worsening depression symptoms. Would that change account for the symptoms?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM. Thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
The symptoms of headache, blurred vision, tinnitus and depression can be side effects of Topiramate. You should stop it immediately.
There is nothing to worry. There is no permanent damage and you would be back to your good old self in a few days.

Wish you good health.
