Hello, meningitis is a severe disease. Fungal meningitis, the problem of your fiancé, is a rare disease and its evolution depends on the state of his organism (body). If he has another disease that makes fungal meningitis posible (cancer, inmununo supresive therapy, iads, genetic disorder of his inmunity), the pronostic depends on the severity of the former disease.
