Can Food Poisoning Cause Loss Of Appetite Or Could This Be Due To Some Anxiety?

My son had what we think was food poisoning when we were away over two months ago.
Ever since, he has been sort of off about eating, as he has had several different things at different times, and thrown up (maybe 6-7 times since).
He now has very little appetite and we are focusing on maybe it's anxiety from
School or home? Or could it be something else.

I really can understand your problem, loss of appetite because of food poisoning is not related but of course this may develop the phobia, this could be the near cause and for this you have assured your son that nothing will happened it again, encourage him for eating, just take him with you while you eat let him see you eating, this will brig his appetite back, for safe side I would advise the following medicine this medicine will eradicate the infection part, if any.
1) Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for 5 days
Take care of your son and nothing to worry about this, have nice time
