Hi I have gone through your query.... You have classic presentation of food poisoning that is acute gastroenteritis.... Cause could be..... -bacterial -viral or -parasites First start treatment with antibiotic like cefixime for 5 days.... More water and fruit juice to maintain hydration... Semisolid diet taken ... Small meal taken with frequent interval... For few days avoid irritants like .... -tea excess -red and pork meat like non veg -sour fruit -smoking -alcohol etc.... Green leafy veg more for few days. If no improvement stool examination for parasite done to rule out ameba , giardia, ascaris , tenia solium etc.... According treated by cause... If still needed stool culture or USG done for further work up if diarrhea not resolving after 5 days.... Take care.... Dr.Parth
