Can First Time Intercourse Cause Bleeding?

I had sex with my boyfriend a few long backfor the first time.i had so much pain dat i cant resist. But surprising what ever i heard earlier of bleeding immediately after having sex the first time pruved out 2b abs wrong!datz bcoz i just din bleed... now due to misunderstandings and other problems...may be my bf thinks dat i wasnot vigin. i was a virgin when we had sex!But d truth is i was a VIRGIN!he start behaving so weirdly whenever i talk about our first time sex , n whenevr his frnds told them that there gfs bleed alot when they have sex. and i feel embarce and discomfortable .. but i love him a lot and i was always truthful...so plz tell me how do i actually let him know dat bleeding dusn t always take place after having sex d 1st tym???I am dying....i can t live witout him and !Wat do i do to make him biliv this no bleeding fact??

It is not essential for a woman to bleed the first time she has sex even if she is a virgin. Bleeding during first time sex is associated with rupture of hymen. However, in present days when women like you might have done lot of physical activities like exercises, cycling, sports and also masturbation, the hymen might have ruptured long back even if you were still a virgin. Please discuss this with your boyfriend and take the help of a sex counselor if required. A woman may not know that her hymen has broken because it doesn’t always cause pain or noticeable bleeding. Even if your hymen broke the first time you had sex, bleeding need not necessarily occur.
