Can Dryness In Eyes Cause Vision Problems?
I have undergone LASIK surgery for both the eyes one year ago. I always had dry eyes problem. Since last 3-4 days my eyes are paining when i start working on the computer. When not looking at the computer my eyes dont pain. I also feel that left eye vision is not proper. Is it because of the dry eyes or i have actually got the number in my eyes? plz reply

Dry eyes is a commonly seen issue following Lasik surgery but responds very well to lubricating eye drops in most cases. You can also use lubricating eye drops such as Systane or Genteal eye drops, 1 drop 4-6 times a day for about 1-2 months. This will give you symptomatic relief. Tear film instability can cause blurred vision too. If not then get your vision and refraction done by your ophthalmologist again.

as such excessive computer use causes computer vision that is mainly dry eye. for using computer an anti glare specs may to be used. if possible an anti glare screen may be fixed before computer screen. start using artificial tear drop in eye before and after using computer.must have effected cornea with errosion an eye doctor have to examine the eye for cornea effect and refraction can be done.
