Can Diseases Genetically Skip A Generation?

Hello I am a daughter of a Vietnam vet that was exposed to agent Orange (dioxin) he passed away from prostate cancer he was 100 % service connected. I have had many health problems since I was born I have been plagued with autoimmune diseases , SLE lupus, sgjounes syndrome, ITP platelet disease, I have also had shingles 3 times, gallbladder surgery , hysterectomy due to uterine cancer, I have very high CK levels along with many other issues. My daughter has dyslexia, learning problems and now at the age of 13 years old she has been diagnosed with thyroid disease. Absolutely none of these problems are not found in any of our family except for my father. I would like to know if you knew of any doctors that specializes in dioxin and genetics and if you have any thoughts on this what would you recommend we do? Thank you very much Sincerely, Affected from AO
