Can Derma Rollers Be Used For Puffy Under Eyes While On Accutane?

Hi, I m currently on my first month of my Accutane treatment (round 2) to help fix some mild acne on my face. I ve researched dermarolling and have purchased two rollers with a .25 mm needle in order to help smooth my under eye bags and laugh lines. I was planning on only doing it two or three times a month. Is there any risk to this considering that I am using Accutane right now?

Hi There

I've read your query and understanding your concern.

I would like to advice you not to use derma rollers while you are having Accutane. There are big big chances to get pigmentation because skin gets dry and fragile with the use of Isotretenion . Waxing and laser hair removals are contraindicated while using Accutane.

Theoretically it's not adviseable but some people are practicing. Even if you want to use it then better to consult personally with a dermatologist so that he can guide you in a proper way.

Wish you Good Luck
