Can Continuous Intake Of Losartan And Simvastatin Cause Elevated Liver Enzymes?

My blood work showed high liver enzymes AST 54 ALT 93 HAD A ABDOMINAL SONOGRAM THAT WAS NORMAL,DOCTOR SAID I HAD TO SEE A GI DOCTOR BUT SHE CAN T SEE ME UNTIL JULY,IS THIS TOO LONG TO WAIT TO BE SEEN? I M ALSO ON LOSARTAN FOR HIGH BP & SIMVISTATIN FOR HIGH CHOLESTEROL SHOULD I STILL BE TAKING THESE MedS,COULD THIS BE CAUSING MY ELEVATED LIVER ENZYMES.

drug you are having for high cholestrol levels dear usually effects your liver and causes increase in liver enzymes in blood.
So try to lower dosees of statins.
