Can Cocaine Use Lead To Itchy, Sores On Legs, Back, Arms And Stomach Along With Fatigue?

Hi I had recently over the weekend used cocaine. Recently i have used it around 7 or less times but I am sure it has built up in my system. I have developed a terrible itch on legs, back, arms stomach and was wondering if this is do to this drug. I went to my dermatologist and he took samples of my skin and said he saw nothing. I did tell him i was under a great deal of stress as i have just moved sold my coop, husband out of work, mom in assisted living and new job for me that I am a wreck. That I have so much on my plate. Oh also have a 15 yr old daughter. I am extremely reliable and people depend upon me. My doc says i need to speak to a psychiatrist but he gave me a steroid cream & atarax which I can't take as makes me extremely tired! Could it be the cocaine, the cut that is causing the itch ? if so I have no problem leaving it alone but how long will these sores take to go away?

Hi,

The itch that you are feeling is a common symptom of cocaine withdrawal. In addition to itching, you also may be feeling other withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, depression, irritability, fatigue etc. This will go away in a few days if you do not take cocaine again. Also avoid scratching as the sores may get infected and worsen. Cocaine is a highly addictive substance and it is not surprising that you have withdrawal symptoms even after using it for only a few times. Please take control of your life before it is too late.

Best wishes.
