Can Chiari Decompression Surgery Cause Headaches And Neck Pain?

I had the Chiari Decompression Surgery about 3 months ago and still having headaches and have been released from my surgeon. It now is hurting when I yawn and having server neck pain.Should I follow up with my surgeon again or just call my regular doctor when he gets back from vacation?
