Can Chesty Cough Be Related With Underactive Thyroid?

Hi, i am a 22yr old female, for a few weeks i have had a chesty cough, and for the past few days (5) i have had a sore throat on the left hand side, waking up this morning i had very painful cheeks and was very bunged up. i also have an underactive thyroid and was wondering if it could be linked some how?

Dear Patient, sore throat and swelling is mostly caused by viral or bacterial infection, usually tehre is no link to underactive thyroid. Best regards
