Can Cervical Spondylosis Trigger Trigeminal Neuralgia?

In the early 90's I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. I was into carbamazepine for some time. and for the past years now, I have just a few episodes of pain on the right side of the face. Last May, 2013, I went into therapy for carpal tunnel syndrome, and just this December, 2013, I was again into therapy for cervical spondylosis (C5,C6). This morning, I again experienced the stabbing pain which is very similar to neuralgia. My question is, is it possible that Cervical Spondylosis may have triggered my trigeminal neuralga episodes again?
