General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Look let us be honest, if there is nerve damage, then this pain will remain. So if your pain is unmanagable, then I recommend you to visit some pain clinic. They have various modalities for pain control and they will decide future course of treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sheikh Zubair, General & Family Physician
