Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The other night I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and almost fainted but caught myself and sat down. I then woke up the next morning with what feels like a bruise on the side of my head. I did not hit my head. What could this be?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The dizzyness could be due to the infection of the internal ear, hyper or hypo tension, hyper or hypoglycemia, or some problem in the brain etc. I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment. The bump may be due to the injury which you did not fave noticed during the dizzy spell in the night. I usually prescribe to the patient with such symptoms cifixime, diclofenac, ranitidine, and cinnerzine till the diagnosis is established. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
