Can Blowing The Nose And Coughing Cause Hemorrhoids?
Hi I have had a recent bout of a stomach bug where the symptoms were a lot of, flatulence and very little diarrhoea . This seemed to pass then I caught a bad cold which hung over me for some time. It was mostly nasal and a chesty cough after the viral infection subsided, while having these symptoms I was blowing my nose a lot and coughing up a lot of phelm. Since I have gotten rid of most of the mucous I have had some mucous and blood appear while going to the toilet, this has now been diagnosed as hemorrhoids my doctor believes. I have experienced a lot of flatulence while trying to add more fibre to my diet to which I feel I have always tried to have a good balance of different types of foods. I have recently been prescribed anusol suppositories and cream which I m unsure if they are doing anything gets at all...my questions are 1.Can the blowing of my nose and coughing have caused the hemorrhoids? And I have been experiencing some minor pain in my head can this be linked to my hemorrhoids if that is my ailment? Thanks for your time
