Can Blister Due To Horsefly Bite Lanced?
I was bitten by a horsefly recently (the second time in two weeks) and the bite site has developed into a blister. The last time this happened, I went to the Dr s and she lanced the blister and put me on anti-biotics. Should I lance the blister myself?

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that whenever doctor lance the blister they do it with all the aseptic precautions. If you are able to do it with full aseptic precaution I advice you to do it at home. But I afraid that you wont be able to do such aseptic precaution at home, so I advice you to go to Doctor. looks like there must be something else that has bit you because housefly bite doesnot produce such effects usually...
please dont self medicate yourself..
its not good...
things must be done by experts itself..
it may look trivial to you but all case will be different..
dont try doing things yourself and getting yourself into a spot of bother..
do visit your doctor again and get yourself properly treated again..
dont be worried things will improve gradually and surely...
