Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has what looks like a blackhead inside of his mouth on his inner cheek. When i looked around to see if there was others i found one on the oppisite side in the sane exact spot. I was dumbfounded when i saw the first one but one in exact same location on other side now has me worried. Wgat could this be and what should i do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query blackhead inside mouth is nothing but collection of blood filled blister. It could be oral melanotic macule which is completely painless and harmless. I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene of your child. Get it surgically removed if it is aesthetically not looking good to you. Visit oral surgeon once and get it examined. Go for biopsy of lesion to rule out any systemic pathology. You can start treatment once proper diagnosis is made.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
