The interpretation of stool report is as follows:
The physical features- color, consistency, pH are all within normal limits.
No parasitic ova or cyst are present in the stools.
There is presence of few pus cells in the stools which is normally present in cases of infection.
Is there history of bacterial infection or gastroenteritis?
Gastroenteritis is presence of bacterial infection of the GIT.
It is accompanied by pus cells and/ or bacteria.
Antibiotics are required for treatment of the infection.
Consult your doctor with reports for prescription of antibiotic.
