Can Antibiotics Cause Solar Plexus And Back Pain With Discomfort?

Hi I have a pain lately some days that starts in solar plexus and seems to radiate back to the same area in my back. It s really uncomfortable and lasts around 2 to 3 hours then goes. I have lyme disease and am receiving antibiotic treatment, for 2 years now. Could it be due to the antibiotics? I m not great with my water intake as I forget to drink a whole lot. A bit worried my kidneys are strained? Thanks, Samantha

Hi welcome to hcm
Your pain could be drug induced pancreatitis due to longterm use of antibiotics.Get Serum electrolytes done and correct it.CT abdomemen will be helpful to confirm the diagnosis.Increase water intake and potassium supplements like coconut water, electobion sachets.intake of fruits and vegetable salads will be helpful.Proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole 20mg once daily before breakfast will be helpful.consult your doctor for further queries.
Thankyou
