Can Anteverted And Bulky Uterus Prevent Pregnancy?

Anteverted and bulky uterus. I went for a pelvic scan and it showed anteverted and bulky uterus 5.8cm in A-P diameter, Endometrium is 0.6cm, Myometrium- 3 Myomas seen largest is posterior intramural measuring 4.3cm x 3.1cm. What does this mean? And is it serious? Can it prevent pregnancy from taking place?

Hi,

The position of the uterus rarely affects pregnancy. Although abnormal size or anatomical abnormalities do affect pregnancy in a varying manner. If the fibroids or myomas are in the cavity then it might affect the implantation of pregnancy. Being a posterior wall fibroid, it will most probably not have any problem. Anyway, it needs to be followed up during pregnancy. Don't worry. Be stress free.
