General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Early studies found that children born to mothers with hypothyroidism during pregnancy had lower IQ and impaired psychomotor (mental and motor) development.

Studies have shown a higher rate of stillbirth and miscarriage in pregnant women who have Hypothyroidism

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
