Can A Sensitive Lump Under The Nipple Area Indicate Cancer?
I am a 34 year old mother and my youngest is 12 and I have a pultuitary mass on my hormone glad. I recently found a marble size lump under my nipple area that is hard and very sensitive to touch. I would like to know if it could be a milk build up from where I have had kids or could it be cancer?
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Well, the cancer is the last thing to think of and it usually doesnt manifest on this way. This is more likely to be foliculitis, lipoa or fibroid so you should not worry. In every case, you can do ultrasound check to see if this should be punctured or surgically removed but this is not an emergency unless there is pus secretion, fever or redness. In this case you should see breast surgeon. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
