Can A Rash Below The Left Breast Indicate Shingles?

I have a rash that just showed up below my left breast and there are no blisters. It just appeared today. There are no bliisters but a lot of moisture, like I was sweating, but not anywhere else. I am 66 and have a mother with dementia in a nursing home. If it is shingles, is it contagious?sandy

Hello, I just read your query and from what you describe it appears that you have contact dermatitis due to sweat and chaffing underneath your breasts.I don't think its shingles because there are no blisters like you said.
I would suggest that you keep the area as dry and clean as possible and it will go away on its own in a few days .
If not then you can contact me again for same and i can suggest some ointments in that case.
Hope my advice helps you in some way. Goodluck.
