Can A Protruding Lump From The Anus That Is Bleeding Be Termed As Hemorrhoid ?

Two days ago I noticed a lump just protruding from my anus. Today it is larger (size of my baby finger and small amount of bleeding. I am never constipated nor loose stool. 59 years old, no colonoscopy ever done. I do not have a gastro DR. Just a cardiologist who is my primary Dr. Only on high blood pressure med. Should I wait to see if this goes away? hemorrhoid? Thank you.

Hello.By the symptoms that you refer, the more likely diagnosis is hemorrhoids.
Go to your doctor to confirm the diagnosis and for prescription. If the diagnosis is confirmed ,is important to have daily bowel movements (with plenty of water intake, fruit and vegetables)and avoid spicy foods.I wish you good health.
