Can A Plugged Eustachian Tube Cause Pressure In The Ears And Dizziness?

Hi there, I have been dealing with Fullness in my left ear, light headedness and anxiety for the last 3 years. I have seen ENTs, TMJs, Natural Paths etc. At first they all said I have anxiety until I paid for an MRI & CatScan. They found a granuloma in my left petrous apex which they eventually said was an incidental find and supposedly has no contributing factors to my symptoms. They said they cannot surgically remove this granuloma because it was in a tricky area. One ENT said after the fact that it was my eustation tube and has prescribed me this nasal spray to use for 3 months then a follow up MRI in 6 months. I have been watching videos on how to open up my eustation tube however I don t feel like plugging my nose and blowing as hard as a I can because I feel like that would blow my ear drums. Is it possible that my gustation tube could be plugged for over 3 years? Any advice I can get would be great. I am in Canada but I have found surgeons in California that remove granulomas. Thank you

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

You need to consult an ENT specialist for complete checkup of the ear. Also, steam inhalation helps to open up the sinuses. Use normal saline nasal drops to clear the blockage in the Eustachian tubes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
