Can A Key Hole Surgery Remove An Infected Appendix?

I have key hole surgery yesterday to remove my append. From my consultants comments it was a very routine procedure, no need for anything further than key hole to remove and no sign of bowl infections. I have a holiday booked involving a 4 hour flight on Monday afternoon, so 4 and a half days after the surgery took place, would it be safe for me to fly?

Hello thank you for writing us here.
Well since the scar isn't big and no major complications can occur, you can travel without worrying. Everything would be alright.
Have a safe journey

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
