Can Vitamin B12 Deficiency Be Related To Flatulence?
i am murali . My B12 vitamin level is 134 . my age is 26 . I am vegetarian . My symptoms are i am going to motion for 3 to 4 times a day and feeling more gas in stomach having flatulence but no pain due to gas. I am not sure how my B12 defeciency is related to gas problem and can you help me how to improve the B12 vitamin and also how to get out of this flatulence problem. Thanks & Regards, Murali
You can take vitamin B12 tablets 500 mcg one tablet twice daily which will help improve these levels. For flatulence you need to take a syrup that contains simethicone such as mylanta gas and along with that I would recommend that you should also take a medication to reduce acid in your stomach like omeprazole 40 mg once daily.
