Can Tylenol Be Taken For Swelling And Bruising Of The Face?

I got hit in my face sevaral times and I have a black eye my left side of my face is swollen but by my temple is really swollen and it hurts. I don t know if I should go to the hospital. I have been using a heat pad all day and taking Tylenol but it still hurts?

tylenol is brand name of acetaminophan which is used as pain relieve , headache , muscle pain mainly. it is quite unusual to use in black eye.
of course it will relieve swelling and pain..but its better to consult a doctor as it needs to evaluate the severity of trauma.
