Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can Telseton,Glimulin MF,Rozavel F,Ecosprin Cause Black Scars On Lips?
I am using Telseton H 80 ( 1 tab /day) , Glimulin MF ( 1 tab /day), Rozavel F (1 Tab /day), Ecosprin 75 mg (1 tab/day) for the last 5 months .. recently I observed some black scars on my lips .. What could be the reson ? is this the side effect of any drug ?
This black scars may be due to niacin deficiency or allergy to some creams or lipstick etc.
Above drugs your taking already since six months then less likely to be a drug allergy.
It may be due to photosensitivity or fixed drug eruption due to other drugs. So please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you with alternative medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
