Can Taxim-O Treat Fever In Infants?
Hello, My child is having fever since last night and he have become very pale and his head and and palm is very hot, we gave crocin syrup but no major change so call one of doctor and he duggested to take taxim o drops. Is this ok? Also how many drops to be given for 1.6 years infant?

your history is insufficient. i need to know more details about it. is there any symptoms or complaints of sore throat cough or diarrhea.
if there is no such symptoms then you should not use Taxim O drops its 3rd generation cephalosporin and treats infections. its dose is 8mg/kg body weight/day. you can take it in a single dose or two devided doses.
for fever you can take Acetaminophin and do tepid sponging.
