Hi Thanks for posting on HCM There are STIs whose symptoms will manifest in a few days or weeks in men such as STIs caused by bacteria(Gono, chlamydia...).These infections may be eliminated after unprotected sex a year ago since no symptoms. However, there are other STIs that may be in you for long without any symptoms especially those of viral origin. For the protected sex that ended up with a broken condom, if body secretions were exchanged and any injury around private parts, infection is possible if a partner infected. I will suggest you just observe for any genital symptoms like itches, rashes, discharges in the coming days or weeks.I will also advise you take an HIV test and repeat after 3 months if negative given the exposures. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
