General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is not advisable to take Xarelto which is a blood thinner with either propafenone or ciprofloxacin.

Ciprofloxacin and propafenone increase the effects of xarelto (rivaroxaban) increasing the risk of bleeding.

You should talk to your doctor who may decrease the dose of xarelto if at all propafenone and/or ciprofloxacin has to be taken.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
