Hi,
It is true what you said about your drugs. There are possible interactions between your drugs and these can be dangerous for you. Combining
Wellbutrin or Bupropion together with
Paroxetine and
Risperidone may increase the risk of seizures, which may occur rarely with either medication.
In addition, Wellbutrin can increase the blood levels of Paroxetine and Risperidone which may increase other side effects. Even the combination of Paroxetine and Risperidone can be dangerous. This combination may increase the effects of risperidone.
This can cause development of
extrapyramidal symptoms resulting in tremor, shuffling of your feet, muscle spasms or rigidity, and
involuntary movements. It is very important to tell your doctor if you have any of these symptoms.
You may need a dose adjustment for these two medications. My advice is to discuss with your treating doctor about your drugs and the possible side effects, interactions between them and if it is necessary to change the therapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Elona Xhardo
