Can Nyquil Be Taken Along With Tamiflu And Acetaminophen?

My daugher has just been diagnosed with influenza A. she is taking Tamiflu, cough medicine, ibuprofen/acetominophen. Can she take Nyquil or a decongestant at the same time? She has pain in the back of her head and chest heaviness, ears crackling, is all this caused by the flu?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Active ingredients of Nyquil: Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan & Doxylamine succinate have no known drug interaction with either Tamiflu or ibuprofen. Hence, can be taken as a supportive drug in influenza. However, Dextromethorphan and Doxylamine may cause drowsiness due to additive action.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
