Can Noriday Cause Weight Gain?

Hello I have suffered with PCOS for years and took all types of pill to combat this, last year at 46 I decided to come off the pill, unfortunately I started the weight gain and spots and cysts again, my doc has given me noriday pill and I am hoping it will stop this and lower my testosterone levels as the weight is all round my middle. But I have read there is weight gain with this pill, can you help please as I am 47 now and thought PCOS would go at this age and menopause kick in but not yet. New studies show that you don t have to have cysts to have the symptoms in older women that have suffered.

Hi there.

PCOD is a lifestyle disorder. In my experience, those patients who exercise regularly have found a positive response to the OCPs and also have been cured. Do daily brisk walking exercise for 45 minutes. Get Your hormones tested once again to be clear of what is going on.
