Can Norethisteron Stop The Menstrual Flow?
HI, Can i take norethisteron during period to stop it? I am travelling and this is my 2nd day of my period. Is it possible to stop the period by taking norethisteron? And how long should i take the pills? Do i need to take 3-5 days to stop it and is the period will come agin after i stop taking the pill?

Norethisterone can be used to delay menstruation. The period would normally start 2 to 3 days after discontinuation.
Normally it is started before the onset of the period but it is possible that using it at this stage would cause the period to cease.
It can be used for up to 2 weeks or until you wish your period to return.
