Can Methadone Help Alleviate Extreme Pain?
hi my name is judy my husband Is taking methadone for extreme intractable pain. however he is allergic to penicillin and he has infection and dr keeps giving him penicillin saying he cant give him anything else because of methadone...is there a antibiotic he can take

Hello Dear. Methodone causes interaction with many antibiotics. However penicillin group of drugs can be safely taken. Your husband can be given amoxicillin. If your doctor feels that penicillin is the best choice you should go with it. Is there any side effect he is facing with it?
