Can Metformin And Progyluton Be Taken Together While Trying To Conceive?

My doctor told me to take progyluton for first month the the second month take progyluton and clomid to help me conceive.But as well I ve been prescribe metformin to also help .Do I take it as well to help me conceive. Or should I just stick to progyluton and the clomid? Please help I would appreciate it

Hi,

Progyluton is usually prescribed for women who have abnormal uterine bleeding and it helps to regulate their menstrual cycle. Clomid will help to induce ovulation.

Metformin helps to decrease insulin resistance and aids to induce ovulation as well as normalize menstrual cycles. Hence, when taken together, it would improve the chances of conceiving.

Kindly take the medications as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
