Liv-52 is a herbal supplement. Diabetes is not a contraindication to use of Liv 52 DS medication.

If you are taking in syrup form, kindly look for sugar content. If it is in higher concentration, then you can take it in tablet form.

Increased levels of enzymes are most likely due to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, which is apart of insulin resistance in people having diabetes.

Along with intake of Metformin and Liv 52, weight loss to maintain healthy BMI, intake of diabetic diet and regular exercise will help to keep liver healthy and the enzyme levels to reach back to normal levels. Abstain from smoking and alcohol intake if you are habituated to.
