Hello,

There is no problem in taking Lasix 20mg while on Prednisone medicine. But the most important thing is to accurately evaluate the reason for swelling whether it is whole body or only feet.

Corpulmonale (right heart function gets severely compromised due to COPD or some other severe respiratory illness), is one of the most common reasons of pedal edema/swelling of feet in COPD patients. So, my sincere advice is to rule it out as early as possible.

One more important thing is even if you have developed any heart failure, you can go for Lasix. A 2D ECHO can evaluate heart function. You can discuss the same with your treating physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
