Can Lamotrigine And Citalopram Drugs Be Taken Together?

I have had surgery to stop having seizures. I was prescribed Lamotrigine. I am suffering depression, & was prescribed citalopram, then was prescribed clomipramine for my OCD. I was told from another doctor that the clomipramine was prescribed for depression!!! I am very confused!! Is it okay to take this together with my Lamotrigine??

Lamotrigine is a mood stabiliser drug and is a safe to use drug. The drug is associated with risk of rashes and in rare individuals this could lead to serious rashes. Abrupt increase of decrease in dose are the reasons for rashes. Citalpram is a SSRI drug and is safe to use drug.

If we consider possible drug interactions then both drugs have no serious drug interactions and you can take these drugs together as per your prescription without any worries.
