Can Keppra, Plavix And Vitamin D Supplement Be Taken Together?

Have had a quintuple bypass in 2000, and the Watchman Procedure in December, 20165. Am takin g Keppra, 750 mg. twice daily, Plavix 75 mg. at bedtime, as well as an 81mg aspirin. Would taking the recommended dosage of vitamin D create a problem, or interaction? Thanking you in advance for your taking the time to respond to the above. Sincerely, Richard Landry

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Keppra and Vitamin D can be taken together, aspirin as well. Also, there are no interactions found in studies between Plavix and Vitamin D3 - however, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Always consult with your doctor if you see anything that makes you feel bad.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suzana Zharri,
