Can I Use Ibuprofen For Low BP?

So my mom is allergic to wasps and bee stings. I think primarily bees anyways.. her reaction is always lots of swelling and redness but if it gets really bad she gets really tired and I guess her blood pressure drops really low. She went into shock once a few years ago and that doctors told her to never give herself the epinephrine shot because it would help her reaction and to take 3 ibuprofen instead to raise her B.P. Does this sound correct?

Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.

No using 3 ibuprofen drug at a time of acute allergic reaction is totally unacceptable concept.

Treatment of allergy is -

1 prevention is better than cure. So avoid allergens.

2 whenever she has allergy antihistamines and steroids are drug of choice. In case of emergency injectables are preferred.

So, don't use ibuprofen and consult some qualified doctor who can prescribe proper medication.

Thank you.
Have a nice day.
