Can I Take Acetaminophen For Menstrual Cramps?

Hi. I have severe mentrual cramps (mostly lower back) today and I only had Tylenol, so I took 2 extra strength pills 1.5 hours ago, the cramps have not improved. A co-worker has generic Midol, which also contains Acetaminophen. Can I take that or is that too much Acetaminophen? Should I maybe try 1 of the Midol instead of 2? I don t have anything else I could take since I m at work. Thank you.
