Can I Apply Elcom On My Itchy Legs?

I, my legs are very itchy and I reallly don't know what to do, I scratch them till it comes red and then it burn, I have a cream at home it's call ELOCOM 0,1%, do you think it's good for me, I'm 73 years old, thank you very much and excuse my english I'm a french canadian and proud of it, hope to read you soon, good night in march I had a blood cloth that got into my lung and I'm taking coumadin and everything is going well, except my legs.

Hi,

As you said,you suffer from itchy legs,otherwise you are alright. You seem to have senile pruritus on legs. Due to aging skin, your skin would be dry..xerotic. And that would be the probable cause of pruritus. Take antihistaminics like levocetirizine 10 mg daily at night. Apply moisturisure like alovera with vitamin E cream after bath in morning. You may continue to apply mometasone,which you are applying daily at night. Avoid soap bath. Olive oil massage may be done on dry skin. You may continue to take coumadin. However, you consult dermatologist. I hope you got my answer.
