Hi doctor I had unprotected oral sex and a protected vaginal sex with a csw in Dubai from the very next day ononwards i am worried about hiv after 7 days I had sore throat and cold for which I took panadol and which went off from day 8 onwards I had mild pain in my knee and later radiated to other joints in hands also ,now I am having relief from that pain.I am very much worried about hiv aboutI take a duo test after 28 days is it conclusive..my sore throat gone in two days but I had runny nose and mucous for a week please advise...

First of all, the risk of getting HIV infection through oral sex is very less as compared to vaginal or anal sex. The symptoms that you had like common cold and sore throat are mostly due to some other infection. Second, you had done HIV duos test after 28 days post exposure and it is negative then you need not to worry at all as the test is 99% conclusive at one month.
